I paint a lot of commissions. Very often - because I get orders from all over the world - people send me photographs and I work from those, particularly of dogs and buildings. But I work from life too if the subject is near enough.

I work in all sorts of formats, but most of my commissions are roughly 16x11 inches, usually mounted (matted) and on a backing ready for framing. I generally don't do framing unless you're local - glass and international postage don't generally mix! Other sizes and formats are always available, and I am happy to discuss and work on appropriate pricing to the painting you require.

For standard dog portraits and buildings/homes and business premises prices are currently as follows:

Dog/animal portraits (single animal): £200.00 plus postage and packing

Building commissions: £200.00 plus postage and packing

Animal portraits containing more than one animal: £200.00 plus £30 for each additional animal. So a portrait of three dogs is £260.00 plus p&p.

For overseas orders I do ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit.

I send you regular updates as a painting progresses, so you know it is exactly what you want. By the time I finish it you will have seen it several times as it develops.
